The program aims to support the timely diagnosis, treatment, and management of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) in Hispanic communities. Activities include a first in the field survey of RA diagnosis services in Hispanic communities, development of a portfolio of bilingual education materials, and delivery of personalized consumer information through a patient navigation model. The program will be supported by a national Spanish and English media effort to raise awareness of RA issues in Hispanic communities. This program is funded by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
