INITIATIVES

Heart Bullet Community Heart Health Events offering heart health education at ¡Vive tu Vida! Get Up! Get Moving!™ family healthy lifestyle events to be held April through November of 2008.
Heart Bullet Establishment of the National Hispanic Cardiologists Leadership Network, in collaboration with the American College of Cardiology (ACC), to serve as a network of support for cardiologists serving Hispanic communities.

U.S. Not Ready to Meet the Needs of a Growing Hispanic Population

CHICAGO, IL – March 31, 2008, Hispanic cardiologists from across the country gathered in the first meeting of the National Hispanic Cardiologists Leadership Network at the 57th Annual Scientific Sessions of the American College of Cardiology (ACC). Summit attendees were presented with data showing that:
